A testimony from a DTS-student
We were in a big country in Asia where you can’t freely evangelize. A few months back a couple got arrested because they evangelized. So we were told not tell the gospel because it is dangerous. Eventually I got in to a conversation with a girl in the hostel about the purpose of life and the question came back so yeah what do you say in a place where you cannot evangelize. After a short prayer to God, what to do, I spoke boldly about where I believed in and that God also likes to have a relationship with her and loves her. As the conversation lasted a reasonable amount of time people in the hostel were getting curious where the conversation was about. The boss of the hostel and a couple of his friends could not speak English but they wanted to know where we were talking about. So the guy asks the girl where are you talking about and I thought i just shared the gospel with here. When the girl started talking, I was getting scared and thought, i cannot share the gospel here. So i began to pray that only the willing ears would hear it and the ears that have bad intentions will remain closed. That calmed me down and the girl told everything and the people in the hostel were surprised and interested to listen. Wonderful to see how God creates opportunities to share and that people can hear it, even though you do not speak their language.
