Time is ticking away and summer is right in front of us and the application forms and e-mails from students for the DTS are coming in more and more. People from all over the world are interested in doing a DTS. But are they interested in this 6 months training only?……Or are they interested in a bigger thing, a higher assignment, a larger mission and a greater vision? A thing where you want to invest in, a thing which is not only fulfilling for but serving a larger picture and a higher goal. A thing where you want to put time and effort in. A thing which can cost you something or maybe….. everything?
God is calling us not only to love Him. When God is calling, He is calling also to love His great assignment He gave us. That goes hand in hand. Love God, love people. That’s never me and God on an island alone. God never intended that we keep His love for ourselves. God intended that we share His love with others. You are not the end product. That draws right into the individualistic society. Which means that in the end it’s not all about us, right? ‘To know God and make Him known’, that’s what I call a GREAT assignment.
