Outreach Phase

The outreach is meant to give the students a cross- cultural experience, a good taste of Mercy & Justice and an opportunity to practice what they learned during the lecture phase. It’s not always easy, but God is merciful and you’ll learn a lot about Him, from Him and from others!

Locations Mercy & Justice DTS 2016:

As YWAM Heidebeek we have a focus on Indonesia. Therefore one of the outreach locations will beIndonesia. 90 % of the people ofIndonesiaare Muslim, that means thatIndonesiais the country with the largest Muslim community. A lot of people have never heard about Jesus. It is also a country with a big contrast between rich and poor, especially in the cities where there are a lot of slums. InIndonesiawe will have a great opportunity to reach out to those in need, to strengthen the Christians there and to share Gods love with people who don’t know Him.

For the other outreach location(s) we are still praying. It is on our heart to reach out to the refugees especially concerning the situation inSyria, but we are still praying about wich countrie(s) to go to. And because the situation of the refugees inEuropeis changing still, we will announce this location later on during the lecture phase.
