Hanneke, student Classic DTS 2012: In Manado, Indonesia, I went away from the group for two days, to ask God where we could be a blessing for the people. We took along money which we could use to arrange food and a place to sleep, but we decided not to spend the money on this, but on people who really needed it. We asked God what we could do and He led us to the hospital to pray for people. During our round through the hospital God spoke to a lady to offer us a place to sleep, to feed us and to bring us where ever we wanted to. We hadn’t even asked for that! Because of this, we had a chance to visit the blinds, to pray for people and to testify if His greatness. Through this I learned what Matthew 6:33 means: ‘But more than anything else, put God’s work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.’
